The real app, showing a sample library. Every post and author in it is made up.

No new habit

No links to share. Old saves come along too.

Read-later and note apps need every item shared to them by hand, so years of saves never make it in. SyncX reads the likes and saves you already make on each platform, so nothing about your routine changes.

Sped up for the demo. SyncX syncs in the background on your schedule — every 12 hours by default.

Save-to appsread-later, note-taking

  1. 1Find something worth keeping
  2. 2Tap Share and copy the link
  3. 3Switch to another app
  4. 4Paste, save and sort it again
  • Every single time
  • Your old saves stay behind

SyncXruns on your computer

  1. 1Find something worth keeping
  2. 2Tap like or save

That’s it. There is no step three.

  • The rest happens in the background
  • Years of older saves are backfilled

Set it up once

  1. Sign in once

SyncX opens a dedicated window in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Chromium on your computer. Your everyday browser profile is never touched.

  2. Pick what to collect

Turn saves, likes and favorites on one by one. The whole account shares one schedule — every 12 hours by default.

  3. Then forget about it

SyncX runs in the background and backfills older saves in batches. Each list shows its last and next run, and an expired login is flagged once.

Platforms

Five platforms, one library.

Sign in with your own accounts and choose what to collect. Everything lands in the same library, to search and browse together.

Never lost

Gone from the platform. Still in your library.

Posts get deleted, videos taken down, accounts closed — and the save turns into a dead link. SyncX keeps the text, author, images and videos on your computer, so you can still open them after the original is gone.

  • Text, author, publish and save dates
  • Images and videos saved on this Mac or a NAS
  • Still opens after the original is deleted
  • Stays until you delete it

SyncX can only keep what it has already synced, so start early. Images, videos and a daily backup of the library can live in a NAS folder you mounted in Finder; the database stays on this Mac. If the NAS disconnects, the library still opens.

Local archive

Worth revisiting

Saved — and actually seen again.

Revisit sits at the top of your library: On this day, Random walk, Long unopened and From the start bring forgotten saves back. When you need them elsewhere, export any filtered result as JSON or CSV.

Works with AI agents

Ask your AI agent about what you saved.

SyncX comes with a read-only syncx command and skill. Claude Code, Codex and other agents can then search and read your library — find that note from last spring, summarize a folder, or turn saves into a list. They can’t collect, change anything or see your logins.

Yours alone

Your library lives on your computer, not on our servers.

SyncX has no cloud account and stores none of your data. It is an app on your computer, and your logins and saves stay there.

Questions

Do I have to share links into SyncX one by one?

No. Keep liking and saving on X, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili or Zhihu as usual. SyncX checks on the schedule you set — every 12 hours by default — and picks up what is new.

Can it bring in my older saves?

Yes. After you connect, SyncX works back through your older saves and likes in batches, and picks up where it left off if a run is interrupted.

If a post is deleted, can I still see it?

Yes, if SyncX synced it before it was removed. The text, author, link and any saved images or videos stay on your computer until you delete them, and you can still open them when the original is gone. Those files can live on this Mac or on a NAS.

Can I export X bookmarks or Xiaohongshu saves?

Yes. Any filtered library view can be exported as JSON or CSV, and saved images and videos are ordinary files you can back up.

Can it find words inside images and videos?

Yes. SyncX reads the text in images and video covers, and turns what is said in videos into text, all on your Mac — nothing is uploaded. Bilibili videos use their own subtitles when they have them, and YouTube videos use captions in the original language. Other videos are transcribed on the Mac. Speech recognition needs macOS 26 or later.

Can Claude Code or Codex use my library?

Yes. Install the read-only syncx command and its skill from Settings › Agents, and your agent can search, read and summarize your saves. It only reads: it never collects, changes the library or sees your logins.

Does SyncX upload my library?

No. Your library, media and platform logins stay on your computer, and there is no SyncX cloud account. Cloudflare serves this website and the installers, not your data.

Will my account get restricted?

SyncX uses your own login in a real local browser and reads your own saves at a modest pace, much like browsing them yourself. Platforms change their rules, so no tool can guarantee they never ask for verification; when they do, SyncX stops and tells you instead of retrying over and over.

Is SyncX free?

Yes. SyncX is currently a free public beta.

Which computers does it run on?

The public beta runs on Apple silicon Macs with macOS 13.3 or later. Windows and Linux versions are in preparation.

Like and save as usual. SyncX does the rest.

Free public beta. Your library never leaves your computer.
